Richard Dooley, CPA Partner

Richard has over 30 years of tax consulting and compliance experience serving public and privately held entrepreneurial companies. He started his career in San Jose, CA with Price Waterhouse before relocating to Austin with Ernst & Young. At EY, he assisted clients with the implementation of tax-efficient domestic and international structures, state and local tax planning strategies, federal and state audit controversy, mergers & acquisitions, and reorganizations. Currently, Richard’s practice includes publicly traded, multinational corporations, as well as private equity backed and early-stage venture backed companies. Richard has extensive experience in corporate financings, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions issues (including buy-side and sell-side transactional tax due diligence analysis), and experience with public company tax function management.
